🧡 Personal Milestones.

🇯🇵 Emily traveled to Japan! During my vacation, I went to Okinawa, Japan. Although I went due to a family matter, it is one if not my absolute favorite places in the world. Thus, visiting always makes my heart warm and happy.

🇵🇪 Rodri spent a weekend volunteering! I traveled to Vinchos, a very small town in Ayacucho, Peru. I went with a group of volunteers to spend the weekend playing and teaching the town's children!

🇨🇴 Meli visited an ostrich farm in Villa de Leyva, Boyaca. It's like a sanctuary for ostriches and many other animals, where they care for and give them much love.

Also, look at this beautiful ostrich with her big eyelashes hahaha.

🇮🇹 🇪🇸 Edu traveled to Italy and Spain! These photos are from Italy. The ones of the bridge and the David are in Florence, the panoramic medium is in the Vatican in Rome, and the last picture is in Venice!

🇨🇴 Steph traveled to Colombia with her mom and nephew and met up with Meli. "We had so much fun during the weekend exploring Bogota and the town of Villa de Leyva, which inspired the movie Encanto."

🇪🇸 🇫🇷 Juan traveled to Madrid, Granada, Valencia, and Paris with his mom and brother! These are some fantastic pictures of the trip!

🇺🇸 Abby got to hang out with a Python! I got to hang out with a Python named Spike at my best friend's wedding!

💡 INSPIRATION: I've followed Jenn Im since my high school years. She started on Youtube and has posted on social media for over a decade. She has a compassionate approach to life which is admirable to me. She's currently navigating motherhood and sharing each new challenge with her newly acquired title and how it alters the dynamic of her many other things: woman, wife, daughter, friend, etc.

📽️ WATCH: Makanai: Cooking for the Maiko House. It's a comforting Netflix show following the story of two young girls moving to Kyoto to pursue their dream of becoming a geisha (or geiko, the term used in Kyoto). Slow pace and beautifully shot. The way the music complements the storyline is exquisite. The glimpse of Japanese culture depicted is very captivating.

⛰️ VISIT: (If not Okinawa, Japan...) 🇵🇹 Porto, Portugal. The coziness and vibrancy of the city are unexpectedly charming. I visited there twice while living in Europe and would love to go there for a third time and many more. The best spot, Jardim do Morro, offers a picturesque sunset view and a perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

💬 What is your favorite hobby? I love going to bookstores. I love buying books, but they end up sitting on my bookshelf half the time, so I try to avoid buying too many.

💬 What's the best place you've traveled to? And why? Santorini, Greece. The views are amazing. It feels like you're in a movie.

💬 What’s one item you can't live without? Mustard. Not sure if it counts as an item, but I definitely can't live without it!

💬 If you could spend a full day with someone famous (dead or alive), who would it be? (tell us why too!) Rafael Nadal. I admire him a lot as an athlete and person, and I feel I can learn so much from him.

💬 If you could teleport anywhere in the world right now, where would you go? 🇦🇺 Australia! I'd love to go to Sydney, but it's so far away and such a long plane ride, so teleporting there would be fantastic 😄
