🧡 Personal Milestones

🇵🇪 Emss had a special visit from her brother! My brother came back home to visit before officially moving to Europe, and we spent the last month enjoying Lima the right way: with good food and great company!

🇦🇷 Euge received her welcome package! I'm super happy, everything's amazing.

Aleja's Honeymoon Album 💘

I'm sharing about my honeymoon; we visited Madrid, Barcelona, London, Prague, Vienna and Rome. Everything was so magical; it was an incredible journey. We walked a lot, explored a ton, and enjoyed delicious food!!

I was able to visit a concentration camp in Prague called Terezin, something I had wanted to do for a long time. I loved being able to learn a little more about the history up close, although it's really difficult to be in a place where there was so much pain and suffering. But was a great experience.

Meet Meli B's pets! Chiqui (top left), Trufa (top right), and Kora (bottom left).

Here are some fun facts that Meli shared about them:

🐶 Truffle: A Yorkie about to turn 9 years old. She's super friendly and greets everyone by rolling on her back, asking for belly rubs. She's sweet but also has a fierce side, thinking she's big and tough around other dogs. She loves people but isn't fond of other animals. Truffle is the smallest one in the house.

🐺 Kora: Kora is our beautiful black dog, and we love her deeply. We rescued her from an island in Cartagena when she was in bad shape. Now, she's full of love, very gentle with people she knows, but quite wary due to some trauma from her past, making her easily scared by noises. She's a bit of a grump, always ready to stop other dogs from having too much fun and extremely jealous, especially if Chiqui gets close, then the growling starts.

🐕 Chiqui: She was rescued from the brink of death by my sister, who nursed her back to health. Now, she's the biggest of the three. Chiqui is white, sweet, smart, and playful but gets nervous around other dogs and people. She's very food-driven and has big ears that make it seem like she can read minds. She's the most active one, bringing even more joy into our home.

💬 What hobby or skill are you learning or want to learn? I really want to learn how to swim. The sea makes me nervous, but I know I need to conquer that fear.

💬 Would you rather speak all languages or be able to talk with animals? Why? Talking to animals! That way I could talk to Sherlock and Billy, my dog and cat ❤️

💬 What’s one piece of advice you would give your younger self? Enjoy the present more because time flies. Don't overthink too much, everything will be okay, and it always works out in the end.

💬 If you could live in any TV show, which one would it be? Tough question. I think I'd choose Dr. Who or Outlander because I love fantasy and the whole time-traveling concept.

💬 What’s one goal, personal or professional, that you're currently working towards? I'm currently learning Portuguese 🇧🇷 not just for work. I'd really love to experience living in Brazil, even if only for a couple of months.

💬 What's a small thing that always makes your day better? Slow mornings and enjoying a good breakfast.

🔥 TECLA's Achievements 🔥

👉 February is Recruiting turn to share their milestones! 

• We had a total of 6 hires! We placed developers at TryNow, Bellwether, and CarrierX, plus a Scrum Master (a new type of role for us!) at OneClick Code. We also added two staff augmentation team members: Thiago do Nascimento at Trustwave and Rodrigo Maldonado at FoundersLed.

• We averaged 33 days for time to hire, just 3 days short of our goal!

• We exceeded our goal for total monthly applications, averaging 55 per recruiter.

• We conducted a total of 223 screening calls, 50% of which were sent to the client.

• Our past clients, EcoInteractive and Asset Management for Jira, came back and hired again!
