🧡 Personal Milestones

Ems': Finally got to hang out with Lauris before she flies to London! We were supposed to be on a Flat White quest, but ended up with a Cappuccino and a Latte 😂 It was so nice to chat and catch up! I was sad that I couldn't hug her goodbye on the last TECLA Lima gathering because I was sick, so this was the perfect way to make up for it. She says hiiii and misses you all!! 🫶

Pedro's: Over the past two weekends, I had the pleasure of performing with the band at a series of festivals in Chile 🇨🇱 These events, known as "PASAMOS AGOSTO," are organized by local municipalities to celebrate older adults.

"Pasar agosto" is a popular saying in Chile that refers to the achievement of surviving the winter and adding another year to one’s life. Each September, thousands of seniors across the country celebrate having "made it through August." It was a rewarding experience to be part of these joyful celebrations!

Abby's: This month I’ve had the opportunity to foster the sweetest Polar Bear, wait I mean, dog 🐶! She’s a bit of an older gal with some health issues but that doesn’t stop her from going on a weekend getaway to Port Angeles with friends!

Aleja's: I went with my husband and my lovely dog to an incredible cabin in a beautiful city in Colombia called Pereira. We were able to relax a lot and enjoy some family time 💖.

Agus': My boyfriend and I spent our birthday weekend in Sayulita 🐚, near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Frida joined us— it was her first flight! We enjoyed every moment on the beach, the great food, and recharged our energy 🔋 for the rest of the year.

Steph's: Last Saturday, Majo and I went to Tigre, a neighborhood by the river, about 40 minutes from the city center. Euge joined us as well 🤩, and we had a lovely time walking around the market and having lunch by the river. It was nice to enjoy a sunny winter day!!

💬 What hobby or skill are you learning or want to learn? I'm diving into video editing—it's a cool way to create and share stories.

💬 Would you rather speak all languages or be able to talk with animals? Why? I’d choose to speak all languages. Being able to connect with anyone, anywhere, would be incredible.

💬 What’s one piece of advice you would give your younger self? I’d tell my younger self to take more risks. The best experiences often come from stepping out of your comfort zone.

💬 If you could live in any TV show, which one would it be? If I could live in any TV show, it would be Avatar: The Last Airbender—a world full of elemental bending and incredible adventures sounds amazing.

💬 What’s one goal, personal or professional, that you're currently working towards? This year, I'm focusing on mastering a multiple skills, improving my fitness routine, and finding more ways to stay creative.

💬 What's a small thing that always makes your day better? Finding a new favorite song. It's a reminder that good things can show up when you least expect them. It adds a bit of fresh energy to your day, making everything feel a little better.
