🎃 Meet Denise, our new team member!

Hello TECLA team! My name is Denise Lado, and I'm a 24-year-old from the South of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have a passion for reading, particularly fantasy and crime novels. Cooking is another love of mine; I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and delighting my friends and family with meals. This year, I started on a new creative journey into pottery, and I’ve been very surprised by my artistic side! In addition to my hobbies, I share my life with a delightful two-year-old French Bulldog named Palta, inspired by my love for avocados.

Ems': Hosted a spring themed brunch to celebrate my brithday 💐 I gathered with my closest friends and family to make colorful bouquets. They symbolized the effort we put in every day and the patience it takes to nurture our dreams in hopes to welcome a new year full of goals achieved!

Agus': My boyfriend and I visited a neighborhood called Juarez on Saturday. We are on a quest for Burnt Basque Cheese Cake, and I had been recommended a coffee shop called "El Minutito." We paired it with a flat white and Coca-Cola (because my boyfriend only drinks Mate🧉😆). The coffee shop reminded us of the typical cafés in Microcentro in Buenos Aires, where there is just a counter with no seating. It was nice to feel our culture for a while 🇦🇷.

💬 What hobby or skill are you learning or want to learn? I’m learning to play Padel. It’s a great way to have fun with friends, meet new people, and enjoy some good times.

💬 Would you rather speak all languages or be able to talk with animals? Why? I would rather speak all languages because it would allow me to connect with people from different cultures and backgrounds. Plus, it would make traveling so much more enriching!

💬 What’s one piece of advice you would give your younger self? I’d tell her to cherish family and friends because time flies by quickly. Make the most of every moment, and don’t take those relationships for granted.

💬 If you could live in any TV show, which one would it be? I would choose to live in "Midnight in Paris" so I could travel to different times in history and meet influential figures. It would be incredible to experience the creativity and culture of those eras firsthand!

💬 What’s one goal, personal or professional, that you're currently working towards? I’m working on developing my skills in talent management and leadership strategies. This month, I have my eye on the book "Scaling People: Tactics for Management and Company Building" to help me achieve that goal.

💬 What's a small thing that always makes your day better? A small thing that always makes my day better is starting with the "slow mornings" concept. I try not to grab my phone right away; instead, I go for a walk with my dog to enjoy the fresh air, have breakfast and after all that, I check my phone.
